We are hiring!

We are looking to hire someone that is friendly, reliable, responsible, and has excellent customer service skills. This person would ideally be someone who can assist in sending emails, some office type duties, tend to the store as a sales associate, assist with craft markets, learn how to prepare gift baskets, assist with deliveries, and perform other related tasks. The ideal employee should be at least 18 years of age or older. It is preferred that they have a valid driver's license as well in order to be able to assist with deliveries. At Aixa Maria's Gift Baskets, LLC... we don't just put bows on baskets. We help offer and create gifts for our clients that they are proud to give to someone else, or even keep for themselves. We also organize a variety of craft markets throughout the year, while overall bringing thousands of people together in our community. We also carry a variety of products, local & otherwise... to offer goodies and items that are either handmade, handcrafted, or simply brought in with lots of passion behind it. More details about position:

  • We are looking for a responsible & friendly team member to perform a variety of tasks. Duties include, but are not limited to:: preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems, organizing & replying to emails, etc. Our preferred candidate would also assist with craft markets that we organize that take place at other nearby locations. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. This is a part-time position & we are currently looking for someone who is able to work 1-3 days a week.

  • *Responsibilities* (This is not a full list):: Answer phone calls, Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, and forms, Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, Maintain a filing system, Prepare & maintain contact lists, Provide general support to clients in the store while providing excellent customer service, Act as a point of contact for craft markets when needed, Additional reasonable responsibilities.

  • *Preferred Skills* :: Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, etc.), Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work, Attention to detail and problem solving skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, High School degree or GED. 

  • Job Type:: Part-time

  • Pay:: $10.00 per hour
